AM / PM KINDERGARTEN MODEL Two teachers share a classroom. They each have their own class. One is on an AM schedule and the other on a PM schedule. Each teacher teaches their own classroom of students and then spends the other portion of their day supporting the other teacher.

STAGGERED DAY KINDERGARTEN MODEL One teacher with one full class of Kindergartners. Half of the students come in the morning, called Early Birds, and the other half come in the afternoon, called Late Owls. The Late Owls arrive before the Early Birds leave for the day which results in the whole group overlap.
